Adeline Ogbor Walker

Professional Credentials: BC-PMHNP

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with nearly two decades of experience in healthcare. I earned my Master's in Nursing at Walden University. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to care for individuals in psychiatric, emergency, surgical, inpatient, outpatient, and forensic settings. These experiences have shaped my belief that mental health and physical health are deeply connected and that each person deserves care that considers the whole individual.
I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and ongoing mental health support. I have experience working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma and PTSD, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and other behavioral health concerns. My approach to psychiatric care begins with listening. I believe you are more than a diagnosis, and I want to understand your experiences, concerns, lifestyle, and goals before developing a treatment plan. I strive to create a compassionate, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable being open about what you are experiencing.
I believe the best outcomes happen when we work together. My goal is not simply to treat symptoms, but to help you better understand your mental health, feel empowered in your treatment decisions, and work toward greater emotional stability and overall wellness.
I am especially passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health care. Seeking support can be an important step toward becoming the healthiest version of yourself, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my patients throughout that journey.
